GOOD
QUESTIONS.
Everything you might want to know before your imagined ride.
Something else on your mind? Before you ride
Do I need e-bike experience?
No previous e-bike experience is needed for our easy demo tour, but you must already be comfortable balancing, steering and braking on a bicycle. Every imagined departure starts with fitting, a briefing and a practice ride. Moderate and challenging tours call for confidence on gravel and hills.
How fit do I need to be?
Pedal assistance helps on hills, but you still need to pedal and control the bike. Check the fitness section on each tour page. The Coastal Cruiser is the gentlest option; the Wild Otway Day is intended for regular cyclists.
Is there a minimum age?
The fictional minimum is 16 years. Riders aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a participating adult. No child seats, trailers or younger riders are offered in this demo.
What should I wear and bring?
Bring closed-toe shoes, comfortable riding clothes, a waterproof layer, sunscreen, sunglasses and a reusable water bottle. A small daypack is useful. The demo package includes a bike, helmet, guide and snack.
Weather & changes
What happens if the weather turns?
The example policy allows rides in light rain where conditions are safe. Severe weather, fire danger or unsafe track conditions would mean cancellation or a route change. In a real service, a guide would make that decision; this demo does not monitor weather or issue alerts.
What is the cancellation policy?
Example policy only: cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund, or 24–48 hours beforehand for a 50% refund. Within 24 hours, no refund. If the operator cancels, choose a full refund or another date. No payment or actual refund is possible on this demo.
Can I change my date or group size?
In this demo, use “Edit your ride” before completing the form. Dates display fictional capacity and the rider control will not exceed it. There is no real reservation system or booking to amend after completion.
The little details
Are lunch and extras included?
All demo tours include a trailside snack and water refill. The Lighthouse Loop and Wild Otway Day also include a standard picnic. The lunch upgrade is priced per rider; the helmet cam and photo pack are each priced once per booking.
Where do we meet?
The itineraries imagine a meeting point near Cape Otway, Victoria, 20 minutes before a 9:00 am departure. There is no real address or operating meeting point. Please do not travel using these fictional itineraries.
Will I be charged or receive an email?
No. This website is a studio demo. No payment is requested, no reservation is made and no email is sent. Contact and booking forms operate only within your browser page and do not save or transmit the information you enter. Use fictional details.
